Direct download is fully functional, now!

That’s right! A fine supporter of ours, who simply goes by the name “Dookie” has scanned volume 32 for us. All of you owe your thanks to this kind individual. We’re starting on chapter 95 right away. You’ll notice a few new/different things in chapter 95 and on (new fonts, etc.) So, be prepared for an amazing chapter with some new flavor.

Sorry to use emotional ties, but…

BECK volume 32 has been out in Japan for over a month now, but we STILL haven’t been able to get it. The RAW usually surfaces on torrent sites 2-3 weeks after the initial Japanese release. So — here’s a cry out to BECK fans and Phase 3 supporters: Help us get our hands on volume 32! If you have a Japanese P2P program, have a look on there for us. If you’ve purchased the volume and would be willing to scan it for us, let us know! However, you need to make sure that your scans are nice and crisp. Blurry or splotchy scans = no bueno. Yohoho! This concludes volume 31. Be sure to check out the fanart folder in the chapter, and make sure to pay those artists a visit on their deviantart pages! Also, volume 32 is now out in Japan. However, it hasn’t been scanned and uploaded to the internet… yet. But, when it does, you can rest assured that we’ll get our dirty, pirating hands on it, and scanlate the hell out of it for you. How does that sound? Good? Good.

Oh, and at the very end of the chapter, you’ll get a preview of our new logo. Woo!

We’ve decided that, in the last chapter of each volume, we’ll have a special “extras” folder, which includes BECK related art. Fan art or manga colorings, if you will. Considering our releases get 8,000+ downloads over the course of the first week (Around 15,000 by the end of the month, usually), I’d say it’s a pretty good way to get your art noticed. We’ll only be showcasing up to 10 pieces (We’d like to keep the size of the release zip below 20mb, and too many non-compressed images can make the size expand exponentially,) so, please, only one piece per person. If you have a deviantart, label your image with your deviantart URL, so that people will know where to find more of your art if they’ed like. The translation for chapter 94 (the last chapter in volume 31) is nearly complete, so the release isn’t too far off from now. Show off your stuff.

(P.S. - Make sure it’s something you made. We want your art, not someone else’s.)

So, how would you like to join our team?

Editor requirements:
No previous experience required.
Must have Adobe Photoshop CS2 or CS3.
Must be attentive - You have to have a nice amount of time to dedicate to the group
Must be able to follow directions - We will teach you all there is to know, but you have to be able to get it through your head and commit it to your memory. This is the most vital part of being an editor.
Must have good communication skills. It is perfered that you’re proficient in the English language and do not type like “u no wat, i liek to type liek dis.” Communication skills are important for us.
Must be willing to work on any project we need help on.

Typesetter requirements:
Experience is neccessary.
Must have typesetted and released over 10 chapters of any manga with any group.
Must be able to provide proof of the above requirement, and must show us their work.
Must have all of our neccessary fonts. We can provide these, though any decent typesetter will probably already have them.
Must be willing to dedicate a fair amount of time to us for typesetting.
Must be willing to correct any errors picked up in the QC without question.
Must be willing to work on any project we need help on.

Yepyep. As you can see, we’ve moved the site over to vnmanga.com. We enjoyed our stay at Nyaatorrents, but we couldn’t comply with a couple of his new rules (Such as not being able to create a direct download until 24 hours after the torrent was created and having an IRC channel.)
